PRODUCT SAFETY TOOL: “Reconciliation”—a word that strikes fear and dread in the hearts of project teams. It describes the time-consuming process of ensuring that the data in your clinical database agrees with the data in your safety database. With Prism, the two databases are linked, eliminating the need for reconciliation. Prism’s safety database extracts the relevant data from the clinical database and allows the user to enter other safety information. The system is then able to automatically generate a MedWatch or CIOMS form with the click of a button.
